Lunch at the Ilac

With over a dozen restaurants and handy cafés, the Ilac has an eatery to suit everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for a salad, a triple decker or a big cheesy pizza the Ilac has something to satisfy your taste buds this lunchtime. As the chilly weather kicks in, we turn to comfort food to warm ourselves up. What could be better than tucking into something hearty on a cold lunch break?

Firstly the Dunne’s Food hall is a great option if you’re looking for somewhere you can eat in or take back to the office. Baxter & Greene have amazing options to choose from include freshly cooked stone baked pizza, hot roast sandwiches, healthy salad bowls and a tempting cheese counter with charcuterie and antipasti alongside, all made fresh and on-site by their house chefs. Fresh chips are also made at the food counter and served with hot or cold sauces.

Café Sol is also located within the Dunnes Stores and offers great tasting coffee and a selection of pastries to have in store or take-away!

Chopped is the perfect place if you’re looking for something a bit on the healthy side. Create your own salad, wrap or smoothie. They now even offer burritos and you can choose to have it in a bowl or a wrap! They also do a student deal, A valid student card will now get you this new cracker of a healthy deal in store. Choose between the ‘Dubliner Caesar’ or the ‘Citrus Garden Tofu’ bowl/wrap, with a 500ml bottle of still/sparkling water for €5.95.

O’Brien’s are famous for their made-to-order hot or cold sandwiches, including the famous Triple Deckers, Wraps and Toasties. They also serve breakfast, Soup and salads. Their Hot Combo Meal which includes a Ham & Cheese Toastie with a Cup of Soup is only €5.

Ginzeng Pan-Asian street food. You can enjoy healthy, innovative dishes for exceptional value for money.

Starbucks located in the middle of the mall is a great spot to grab a coffee and a quick bite to eat. They have a range of readymade sandwiches, wraps and a range of sweet bites.

Debenhams café is a really nice spot for some lunch during some retail therapy! This café looks out onto Henry Street, so it’s a great people watching spot. They have self-service counters with both hot and cold food to choose from.

Quigleys Café looking for something sweet? Quigleys Café have a fabulous selection of home-baked bread, cakes and buns. They also do a superb breakfast, homemade soups, sandwiches, paninis and Salads.

 Ann’s Bakery on Moore St is a family owned business that was established over 40 years ago. They have some of the finest baked goods in Dublin along with a Deli and Restaurant. Their daily menu includes quiche and salads, baguettes, paninis and wraps to lasagne, battered cod or curry.

Costa in Debenhams is a lovely spot for a hot cup of coffee and a ready made sandwich or a baked good, with views looking out on Henry Street, what’s not to love.

Kay’s Kitchen has opened on the ground floor of Debenhams here in the Ilac with a large menu of hot and cold food to choose from your sure to find something you’ll enjoy!
